If the power of the electric furnace is small, only the circulating water tank can be used. For electric furnaces with higher power, circulating water tank and cooling tower shall be adopted. During the design, attention should be paid to separating the circulating water of the electric furnace and the electric cabinet, because the outlet water temperature of the electric furnace is about 55 ℃, the outlet water temperature of the electric cabinet is about 40 ℃, and the temperature difference is more than ten degrees.
If the production line can meet the conditions, or the local water quality is very hard, try to use pure water (distilled water) in the circulation system.
At present, there are two types of pure water circulation system products: closed type (copper tube movement) and heat exchanger type. The former covers a small area but has a high cost, while the latter covers a large area but has a low cost. Both methods can complete the closed cycle of pure water to achieve cooling.
Some users do not pay attention to the configuration of the water cooling system when using the smelting furnace, which will lead to excessive temperature of the circulating water, impurities in the circulating system, scaling and water blocking, and failures such as silicon burning and reactor burning, which will cause unnecessary losses to the entire production line.
